MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Meridian Township residents and visitors made the most out of the warm weather during the Township's annual Celebrate Meridian Festival hosted at the Municipal Complex along Central Park Drive.
People from the local area came together to enjoy the most beautiful summer weekend with vibrant and colorful activities.
The Food Truck Rally this year brought around 30 food trucks from around the state. The foodies could discover a variety of food from hot and spicy to cold and refreshing. The Car Show Cruise introduced a grand feast of traditional American Muscle Car to the public.
There were also varieties kinds of kids activity like bouncers, face painting and a dunk tank. Water game was the most popular ones among all games.
The event also included live music, pet adoptions, family games, business booths, arts and crafts fair, beer and wine tent and the Meridian Farmers' Market.
The event closed with a Fireworks Finale to celebrate the Independence Day Holiday.
