UPDATE: LANSING - It's that time of year again when the holidays roll in and retail stores are ready to roll out their best sales on some of their hottest items for the holiday season. With the holidays set and ready to begin, shoppers are getting a jump start on their holiday shopping.

Target along with other stores will be opening their doors early for Black Friday, so shoppers can take advantage of early bird sales. Target will be opening its doors at 9pm on Thanksgiving.

Retail stores will be expecting to bring in billions in revenue sales for the holiday season, making it the most profitable time of year. Black Friday will kick off the beginning of those profit goals for many retail stores across the country.

Although there are some shoppers that prefer to avoid the crowds and shop on other days outside of Black Friday, stores will still be expecting a constant influx of shoppers for the entire Christmas season.
