MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The largest-ever sporting event exclusively for athletes with dwarfism, The World Dwarf Games, was held in East Lansing, August 3-10.

Nearly 400 athletes from 17 countries competed in more than 13 different sporting categories.

Most events were held at MSU, but all swimming events took place at Mason High School, and all archery competition was held at the Demmer Center in Lansing.


This year is the 30th anniversary of games which first took place at Michigan State Univeristy in 1983.
