In response to recent events with high profile celebrities being involved in Domestic Violence incidents, Capital Area Response Effort's (CARE) Volunteer Coordinator Caroline Nelsen, MSU Safe Place's Advocacy Coordinator Erica Schmittdiel, Ending Violent Encounter's (EVE) Community Relations Director Rachel Berzack, Meridian Township Police Department's Greg Frenger, and Women's Center of Greater Lansing Director Cindie Alwood join guest host Jo Anne Paul on this episode of Open Line to discuss what Domestic Violence is, who it affects as well as what each guest's organization does to aid those living with Domestic Violence. A local community candlelight vigil to honor victims and survivors of Domestic Violence in Michigan is also discussed.
