UPDATE: HASLETT - Last Monday Haslett’s woman's varsity tennis squad matched-up against Grand Ledge.

The teams split the doubles matches, Grand Ledge winning one and two, while Haslett took three and four.

In singles, Grand Ledge captured three points winning matches one, three, and four while haslett only won the second.

Grand Ledge ended up winning with an overall score of five, three.

The wind was a big concern for both teams. Here’s what Haslett’s head coach, Henry Brunnschweiler had to say about it, “It’s really tough on the girls, so I thought both schools really dealt with it well. There weren’t any issues in terms of disappointment with how the wind and all the girls fought really hard so it was a really close match, but a tough win for Grand Ledge. They were very good today. They came out and they’ve improved their team over the last couple years, I gotta give them a lot of credit.”
