HASLETT - The Haslett Vikings managed to take down the Lake Fenton blue devils in spectacular fashion on Feb. 27.
The game started off slow for Haslett and it looked like it might be a close game after a 12-12 tie after the first quarter. It was close to halftime when they really started rolling with some great defense.
The Vikings came out of halftime feeling good and really started laying it on, outscoring Lake Fenton by 20 points in the third quarter. Much of it was thanks to shooting guard Ty Andrades hitting three three-pointers. He ended up with six total on the night.
Haslett head coach Chris Smith said that things could have started better but eventually his team got it under control.
They move on to face Williamston in the district finals, at home, at 7 a.m. on Friday.
