LANSING - The East Lansing Lady Trojans just keep rolling as they grounded Grand Ledge, 52-36, in the district semis Wednesday night.
East Lansing sophomore Jaida Hampton continues to emerge as point guard Taryn McCutcheon's favorite target, consistently being found in the open corners for three. Hampton followed McCutcheon's team-high 15 points with 13 of her own.
"When the game was on the line, we came through, and I couldn't be prouder of our kids," East Lansing head coach Rob Smiith said after the win.
The Trojans face the district tournament host Lansing Waverly Friday night at 7 p.m. for a shot at the district title.
