OKEMOS - A win is a win, and the East Lansing Trojans (18-0) are taking each one any way they can get it to keep their streak alive.
Despite missing star point guard and leader Mykhail Myles, elite prospect Brandon Johns delivered 19 points to topple the Chiefs (6-13), 44-33, spoiling Senior Night in Okemos.
Myles missed his fourth game of the season, and while the Trojans record has not suffered, the scoreboards have been a little tighter. Okemos actually outscored East Lansing, 17-16, in the second and third quarters, before losing control in the fourth, 12-4.
Wing C.J. Pruitt led the Chiefs with 10 points on the night.
East Lansing stays on the road for a matchup with Lansing Catholic (18-1) Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
Okemos goes to St. Johns Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
