MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - A request to establish a group day care home for up to 12 children at 4628 Manitou Drive was brought up to the Planning Commission on January 25th as a new application. The Planning Commission did not comment on the current situation.

According to the tentative Planning Commission agenda this request will be brought forward during a public hearing during the regular meeting in February.

The group child care home on 4628 Manitou Drive is requesting a Special Use Permit (#16031) so they can care for up to 12 children. They're called "FannTastic Beginnings Child Care".

There will also be a public hearing at the February 8th Planning Commission meeting for another request to establish a group child care home for up to 12 children at 1211 Ascot Place, Haslett, MI 48840.
