MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Paul Revere's Tavern was closed in 2013, and the site was abandoned for a couple of years since then. In June of 2015, O'Reilly's Company came to the Meridian Township with the application to redevelop this site and turn it into an Auto Parts Store.

The application was approved in July to build the store in subject to revised plans being submitted with some changes that the Meridian Township asked for.

"Once plans are revised, they need to get variances from the Zonning Board of Appeals. Once the ZBA votes on those variances, they can apply for building permit to actually construct the store," said Martha Wyatt, Associate Planner for Meridian Township.
