BRIGHTON - Okemos sent both the boys and girls to Brighton last week in hopes of winning and placing in the MHSAA Regional meet. The girls took the course first, and their results were as follows.
The girls finished 8th overall with a score of 235.
Every girl finished in the top 80.

The boys fared very well, placing two in the top 15 in the state the entire team finished in the top 60, finishing 5th overall.

After the races wrapped up McKinley shared what makes this team better on the big stages "it's more of a mental game and today the competition was a lot higher and going forward it's going to keep consistently going higher...the training will help with that"
