OKEMOS - Okemos football put on the pads last Friday afternoon for the first time since last season's first round playoff matchup with Flint Carman-Ainsworth.
Last season, the Chiefs finished with a 6-4 record, its best mark under Michigan High School Football Association hall of famer, head coach Jack Wallace.
This will be Wallace's fourth season in Okemos after his historic 31-year run in Fowlerville, which included 15 straight years in the playoffs.
After making the playoffs last winter, Wallace has set himself up for a new streak to begin with his new school.
The Chiefs begin their season at home against Mason on August 27, 2015 at 7 P.M.
