HASLETT - The Haslett High School volleyball camp is happening on Monday, July 13th through Thursday, July 16th. The camp is separated into age groups with girls in high school attending camp from 9 am to 12 pm and girls in middle school attending camp from 1 pm to 4 pm. There is also a camp for girls in elementary school that is at Haslett Middle School.

The camp is run by varsity coach Drew Dudley with assistance from girls on the Haslett Varsity Volleyball team and also older players like Kelsey Kuipers, who just graduated from Michigan State University and was a member of the volleyball team.

Coach Dudley spoke what the girls are working on during camp including "they're working on a lot of individual skills right now. They are going back to the basics on building their passing, defense and hitting."

After camp ends this week the Haslett High School Varsity Volleyball team will be competing next week in the Michigan State Competitive team camp.
