OKEMOS - It didn't take long the Chiefs' scoring run to begin and they would not let up for the rest of regulation. It took all of ten seconds to get their first goal. At the end of the first quarter Okemos lead 12-0.
59 seconds into the 2nd quarter they were at it again. By halftime, the Chiefs lead 19-0. They finally slowed down in the 3rd quarter but still retained the the possible shutout as the score was 20-0 to start the 4th and final quarter.
Despite some chilly weather the Chiefs offense looked to be operating at a completely different speed than East Lansing. Although the shutout was finally broken with 10:08 left on the clock the final score wound up being 24-1. Putting the Chiefs at 4-1 overall, and 1-0 in conference play on the season thus far.
