MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - A public hearing for the Perry Road Special Assessment has been set for March 17th.

The Township Board announced the hearing during their last meeting on February 17th.

Back in August of 2014, the Township Board approved the Perry Road Public Improvements Special Assessment.

The approval allowed for the improvements to grade, gravel, and pave Perry Road.

The cost of the shoulders were provided by the Pathway Mileage Fund, and $2,500 of the road cost were provided by the Lake Lansing Watershed Advisory.

The remaining cost will be paid according to the special assessment.

Now with the project complete, the assessments have been calculated according to each area and will be addressed during the public hearing.
