EAST LANSING - The Spartans traveled west on their journey for an undefeated season and fell to the now #1 ranked Oregon Ducks.
Oregon roared back from a first half deficit and scored 25 unanswered points in the second half. Michigan State appeared to be out of gas in the second half as the Ducks were finding wide open receivers all over the field. A pair of interceptions from Quarterback Connor Cook would help seal the Spartans fate as the Michigan State offense was not able to rally in the 4th. The final score: 46-27 Oregon.
The Spartans are now ranked #13 in the nation and have a chance to right the ship this weekend at home against an Eastern Michigan team reeling from a whooping down in the swamp at the hands of the Florida Gators.
