EAST LANSING - Lansing truly became united at Archer Stadium.

Lansing United beat Fort Pitt Regiment 2-1 in extra time after a game-winning goal from Gabe Mateo.

The team celebrated its Regional Championship with some familiar faces in the place where it all started.

From the Sons of Ransom to the son of Sampson (United owner Jeremy Sampson's son), the gang was all at Archer Sunday night.

What started out as an idea scribbled down three years ago, turned into a team this past spring. Just a few months later, Lansing United can call itself the best Midwest team in the National Premier Soccer League . In its inaugural season, United has advanced to the NPSL Final Four going 10-2-4.

United will take on the New York Red Bulls U-23 team at the Red Bulls Training Facility this Saturday, July 26, at 7pm. The Red Bulls are undefeated on the year.
