MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Meridian Township officials have announced the warming shelter at Haslett High School is closing and would like to thank all the people who donated items or volunteered to help run the center, and to the Meridian Police Department Team for staffing the shelter 24/7 as a safety precaution for the residents. Meridian Township and the Haslett Public Schools were honored to provide this service to residents without power.

Residents can call 211 for other warming center locations or if non-emergency help is needed.
