MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - At the last Township Board meeting, residents voiced their opinions about the 2014 recommended Township budget.
"When I went through the budget, I saw that some of our vehicles are being replaced and it wasn't specified what they are," said a Meridian Township resident. "But I assumed that they're just conventional two-wheel drive vehicles and I see we are going to four-wheel drive vehicles."
Township Manager Frank Walsh said they only plan on purchasing two police cars with the recommended budget.
He added that vehicles are in an issue in the township that they need to continue to look at it.
The budget will be an action item at the next township board meeting on October 15th.
