UPDATE:
OKEMOS - PNC Bank has posted a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects who robbed the bank located at 2260 Jolly Oak Road earlier this week.
ORIGINAL STORY:
OKEMOS - At approximately 10a.m. on Monday, September 16th, Meridian Township Police responded to a bank robbery of the PNC Bank, located at 2260 Jolly Oak Road. Officers from the Ingham County Sheriff’s Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation responded to assist. No one was injured during this crime.
PNC Bank employees reported that two suspects entered the bank, displayed a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of currency. The suspects exited the bank through the front door and fled the area north on foot.
The suspects are described as:
- Both were black males.
- One suspect was described as being approximately 6’ tall with an average build.
- The other suspect was described as approximately 5’8” to 6’ tall with a medium build and having very light-skinned complexion.
- Both wore dark clothing, which included hoodies and dark footwear. Both suspects used a bandana to cover their face.
- One of the suspects displayed a silver handgun during the robbery.
The investigation is ongoing and photographs of the suspects are not yet available.
