UPDATE: HASLETT - The Ingham County Department of Transportation and Roads announces that the Haslett Road reconstruction project is scheduled to begin in August.

The project is taken place from Park Lake Road to Shaw Street in Meridian Township. The project was originally scheduled for 2013 but because of Haslett road's condition and to use Haslett road as a detour for MDOT's 2013 Grand River Avenue project, Meridian Township decided to request the project be moved to this month.

The project consists of drainage improvement, storm sewer and culvert repairs, curb and gutter construction and sidewalk work.

The project work will continue through late October.
