UPDATE: OKEMOS - Construction is in full swing for Celebration Cinema's new theater, Studio C!. Set to open by the end of the year, this development is right on schedule.

"We're about half done. We started approximately 12 weeks ago and we have about 11 weeks left," said Jonathan Stoner, Site Manager for CD Barnes Construction.

So far stadium seating, a new roof, and exterior paint has been added except for the front where they are installing steel beams for the new entrance.

"The only thing that really remains of the existing building is the outside walls and the actual theaters inside the building. Everything else is different," said Stoner.

One of these differences is Oscar's Bistro, the kitchen that will be serving dinner, making Studio C! stand out among the rest.

For now they are completing the auditoriums before making their way into the lobby, restaurant area, and projection rooms.

Some movies to expect first could include The Hobbit, Life of Pi, Rise of the Guardians, Skyfall, and Jack Reacher,
