UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - This summer the Ingham County Road Commission will be constructing a roundabout on the Park Lake and Burcham Road intersection. Right now they have started on the water main work for the intersection and are partnering with Meridian Water and Sewer Authority. The new roundabout is replacing the current stop controlled intersection.

One Meridian Township resident said, "Well, I feel having just crossed after having a fun walk that it takes a long time to get across and people are having a hard time deciding when to go and when it's their turn."

The new roundabout should fix that problem and is set to begin in June and should be completed by August. There will be a detour from the project site during these months.
