UPDATE:
HASLETT - The self guided tour will take place on June 30th and will feature a local school's courtyard, a retirement community, a farm, and a few other surprises. Tickets can be purchased at Christian's Greenhouse or through the HBA's Post Office Box 22. Tickets are twelve dollars in advance or fifteen the day of the event.
Sabrina Jenkins, the Vice President of the Haslett Beautification Association said, "HBA offers Haslett a chance to look at something beautiful. Over the last few years we have really worked hard to create an attractive environment for when people are driving down the road. They may not know all the work that goes into it but they value the beauty of it."
The event goes from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and this includes a lunch reception at Burgdorf's Winery. The luncheon will also provide volunteer opportunities for Haslett residents looking to get involved. If you would like to nominate a garden to be added to the tour you can contact the Haslett Beautification Association through their Facebook page.
