Blondie’s Barn Provides Free Meals on Thanksgiving for the 10th Year

HASLETT - Blondie’s Barn will be open for the holidays once again this year from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 24, providing free Thanksgiving meals to the community. No reservations are needed, as food will be served on a first come, first served basis. The restaurant is planning a meal of turkey, mash potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, and rolls. Tables will be pushed together for a community style meal, accompanied by live music and an appearance by Santa Claus.

Due to COVID concerns, the past two years have been curbside pickup only. Now, Blondie’s Barn is excited to return to normal. “Every year it’s gotten a little bit bigger and a little bit better,” said restaurant manager Mikey Manuel, “We’re always excited to go for it."
