OKEMOS, MI - High Caliber Karting & Entertainment held a First Responders Appreciation Day on Tuesday, September 20 by offering a free day of activities at their facility.
First responders from the greater Lansing area were invited to join, where they were given an All Access Day Pass that allowed for unlimited Go-Kart races, Axe Throwing, Throwbowling, GellyBall Blaster Battles, Archery Tag, Rage Room, and Pocket Soccer.
High Caliber's President and CEO, Jordan Munsters, was involved in an accident in 2020 that required the help of first responders and EMTs. Munsters stated he would have died that day without their help. That event, and his personal connection to having a father as a firefighter, led to the inspiration for this appreciation day.
"Thank you to all of the firefighters, EMTs, dispatch, paramedics, police officers. All of you guys that are putting in all the difficult times, the late nights, the waking up at three o'clock to respond to things," said Munsters. "Thank you for taking care of us and keeping us all safe."
High Caliber plans on holding future appreciation days as well. To hear the full interview with Munsters, watch the video below.
