MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - At the January 21st Meridian Township Board Meeting, the Board revisited a request to rezone approximately 2.2 acres for residential properties 4036, 4038, 4046, 4108 and 4118 Hagadorn Road.
The Board last discussed this request at their regular meeting on January 7th, 2020. During that meeting, Board members agreed to consider a resolution before approving the project's rezoning.
When asked if anyone had any questions or concerns about the project, Trustee's Dan Opsommer, Patricia H. Jackson, Courtney Wisinski and Township Clerk Dreyfus stated that they will support for this project.
"I'd like to note that this is one of those examples where changing conditions certainly support the requests and the approval of a rezoning in this particular instance" said Township Trustee Patricia H. Jackson.
Meridian Township's Director of Community Planning and Development Mark Kieselbach stated that this rezoning will allow residents living in these properties an opportunity to make general maintenance improvements to their households.
Board members voted unanimously to approve the rezoning of this project.
