MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - On Friday, October 25th, Bridgestone Retail Operations, a parent company of Firestone Complete Auto Care, celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome the auto care store to Meridian Township.

Firestone Complete Auto Care is a full-service facility that provides maintenance for vehicles such as tire replacements, oil changes, electrical repairs and engine repairs.

Meridian Township officials and organizations like the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Boys and Girls Club of Lansing were also in attendance.

Store Manager Anthony Teets looks forward to this business being in this location as it is their second repair shop to open in Meridian Township and serving more customers throughout the community.

"We haven't had a second one in Lansing in 30 years. I look forward to the growth of this area and would love if in two years from now we can say that we have three or four."

"We had a lot of customers at the west side Firestone that would come to Holt, but now we are even closer, we can service them more we can get to more Williamston, obviously we want to help Meridian Township, Okemos, East Lansing, but being able to reach out more and get more people to understand our brand and help them out and keep their car running as long as possible."

The new Firestone Auto Complete Care store is located at 2700 East Grand River Avenue.
