MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN - On January 25, members of the Meridian Township Board met to discuss the manager, Frank Walsh, and his performance as manager.
Treasurer Phil Deschaine stated that although feedback was taken, things are being done correctly throughout the board and the manager, praising Walsh. Deschaine said that many are moving to the Township, helping it grow substantially, “We’ve had the highest population increase in the past ten years of any Township in the region.”
Trustee Courtney Wisinski also agreed, even telling a story of how Walsh came into the building on a holiday in order to help members of the Township with their tax payments out of his office window, going one step further as a manager.
Manager Frank Walsh stated he was beyond thankful to be with the Board and the community, loving who he works with. He explained that he wants to be judged by those that he works with on the Board, calling everyone “outstanding.”
