UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - A new DTN property is in its construction stages but should be finished before the 2012 school year begins.

The property is located across the street from the Hamptons Apartments on the corner of Mt. Hope Road and Haggadorn.

DTN began construction in February of this year and has plans to be completed by July.

Although the property isn't completely finished, all but one apartment has been leased for the fall 2012 school year.

Mark Kieselbach says the DTN company is a trusted development company and they have done this many times before.

He said, "I know that they also have a very strong marketing campaign on campus because they do that for all their units, and not only in Meridian, but in East Lansing. So they're very active in marketing properties to college students."

The property will feature 41 apartments as well as space for office buildings.

Residents were able to look at a model apartment to see what they can expect from the new development.
