UPDATE:
LANSING - Winter has passed, Spring is upon us, and that means a few things...
...however, one of those things actually matters, and it's baseball! Lucky for you, one hotspot in Lansing can satisfy that craving for peanuts and cracker jacks, and so much more!
Welcome to the Cooley Law School Stadium, home of the Lansing Lugnuts. For those who love baseball, the Cooley Stadium is a no-brainer. For those who aren't big fans of the game, the stadium has been designed to provide much more than a show. Since the stadium's establishment in 1996, its surrounding area has developed into a real stadium district.
We spoke with the Lugnut's radio broadcaster, Jesse Goldberg-Strassler, about the activities the stadium provides.
"Now, all around the entire area there's a dueling pianos bar, there's a coffee bar, there are terrific restaurants and bars and pubs, clubs, and all sorts of places for families and folks to go to - business people, and young adults, and young professionals. It's really a terrific area to hangout - whatever time, whatever hour, whatever day of the week," he said.
And if none of those options make for a good afternoon, the stadium serves as a sensational place to pass the time.
