MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Ingham County Road Department has a few road projects in Meridian Township that will begin at the end of March.

One of these projects will be the Marsh Road Railroad Bridge. The project will include the replacement of the bridge's superstructure.

The $1.85 million project will be done by Z. Contractors Incorporated and is expected to be completed by Labor Day Weekend.

Some other projects include Park Lake Road and the intersection of Jolly and Okemos.

The Park Lake Road project which will involve the resurfacing of Park Lake from Grand Rover to Merritt Road, and the road project for the intersection of Jolly and Okemos Road will include adding several right turn lanes.

Another repair project is taking place on the southbound Okemos Road Bridge outer lane. It is currently being repaired and will continue through April depending on how early warmer weather arrives.
