UPDATE: INGHAM COUNTY - At the April Environmental Commission Meeting, Harmony Gmazel from the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission, gave a Green Themes presentation about a grant for greater sustainability.

She explained how this $3 million award will be used over the next three years to drive regional planning efforts in the township.

Gmazel said, "Because we have a vision for our land use in our three county region and knowing that we have this vision already planned out, now we can move into the implementation steps and come up with some planning projects."

The grant projects will focus on governmental issues, a healthy economy and environmental quality.
