MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - HOMTV, Meridian Township's Government Access Channel, continues success in competitions by receiving first place in the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) 2022 Government Programming Awards.
The Government Programming Awards are annual awards that recognize excellence in broadcast, cable, multimedia and electronic programming produced by local government agencies. The category was Public/Community Meetings and the winning entry was the Township Board meeting from April 12, 2022.
HOMTV was up against the City of Moreno Valley, CA, James County, VA, the City of Los Angeles, the City of Allen, TX, and the City and County of San Francisco, CA.
“The hard work of our staff and interns is what made this award possible. Providing meeting coverage to the residents of Meridian Township is incredibly important to our team, so the fact that NATOA recognized that means the world to us,” said Communications Manager Samantha Diehl.
HOMTV was recognized at the September 6 Meridian Township Board meeting, which can be viewed below.
