MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Whole Foods, currently under construction on Grand River Avenue, was recently given an approval for an expansion of the building.

The expansion was approved at the Planning Commission meeting on January 12th. Whole Foods was granted an extra 5,000 square feet of retail space on the building taking the original space from 30,000 square feet to 35,000 square feet.

Whole Foods was originally planned to open in June 2015, but that tentative date has since changed to sometime in the fall of 2015.
