OKEMOS - McDonald's of Okemos located on 3477 Okemos Road in neighboring community Alaiedon Township partnered with the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce for their grand re-opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.

The ceremony was held to celebrate new renovations that have been made to the store.

"We've remodeled the inside of our lobby, we've got some great new graphics inside, we've actually added the ordering kiosk over there so that customers can come in and place their orders and not have to wait in line and it does help them get served quicker,"

There were many activities throughout the day including fire trucks for the children, free giveaways and a performance from the Okemos High School Band.
