Subway Employees in Haslett Robbed at Gunpoint

HASLETT - The Meridian Township Police Department arrived at 1630 Haslett Road in Haslett at 7:22 pm on August 29 after receiving a report from Subway employees of an armed robber.

The suspect is described as a white male who is average height with a thin build. The police report said the suspect was dressed in red shorts, a red hooded sweatshirt and a grey baseball hat with a black brim and demanded money from the cash register. He took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing Subway. No one was injured during the robbery.

This is an ongoing investigation after an unsuccessful canine search for the suspect. The Meridian Township Police Department requests that anyone with information regarding the robbery call the police department at 517.853.4800. People can also submit an anonymous tip to the police department on its social media pages.
