Meridian Township Farmers' Market Host First Cooking Demo

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Shoppers at the Meridian Township Farmers' Market were given the chance to learn something new on Saturday. Medical Weight Loss Clinic's Chef Bobby Nahra hosted cooking demonstrations with local fresh ingredients right in the Historical Village.

Chef Bobby taught shoppers how to utilize fresh herbs and vegetables to create simple, but still flavorful meals. Shoppers we're also given samples of the entrees Chef Bobby prepared throughout the demonstration.

Recipe options included meat and meatless dishes and shoppers we're able to take a copy of the recipes home so they could recreate them in their own kitchens. Chef Bobby said, "I'm very passionate about paying it forward and taking care of the universe, like you know eating vegetables and eating the meats and keeping the ball rolling with a healthier society."

Trainers and Representatives from the the Medical Weight Loss Clinic were also available to answer questions and give interested shoppers more information about their program.
