Moneyball Pro-Am

DIMONDALE - Aim High Sports Complex is the site for the 14th Annual Moneyball Pro-Am summer basketball league and 2nd Annual Lady's Moneyball this year and is near the end of regular game play. This years Moneyball started at the end of June and will conclude the first week of August.

The league consists of 6 men's teams and 4 women's teams, all consisting of a mixture of current and former college players and pro players. Some of the big names that headlined July 25th. Some of the big names that are featured in this years Moneyball league is Miles Bridges, Tum Tum Nairn, Cassius Winston, incoming freshmen Xavier Tillman and Jaren Jackson Jr. There were even some familiar faces to the area as the Lady Spartan's leading scoring in school history, Tori Jankoska, made an appearnce, along with former Spartans Matt Costello and Denzel Valentine.

The league gives audience members the opportunity to see how the players might fair for the upcoming basketball season and see some spectacular highlights. Each night is a high octane of high flying athletes and rim rattling dunks that causes echoes throughout the gym.

If you haven't gotten a chance to see these young athletes compete, you still have the opportunity as each game is played Tuesdays and Thursdays. Playoffs begin on August 1st and conclude on August 3rd.
