LANSING - Perhaps, as a minor league baseball organization, the Lansing Lugnuts thought it would only be proper to place a miniature golf course on its field at regular season's end.

With a brand new field being installed for next season, the Lugnuts tore up Cooley Law School Stadium and inserted 18 holes aimed at leisurely pleasure.

The golf course, welcomed those of all ages, from 5-10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday (Sept. 20-22) and 12-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 24-25).

The course, while mini, proved to be a tough challenge for the adults, let alone the kids.
