MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - After years of revisions and recent amendments made, the Meridian Township Board motioned to approve the Ember Oaks Final Preliminary Plat.

Ember Oaks is a single-family subdivision located North of Jolly Road and East of Dobie Road.

The applicant's request was initially approved in 2000, however in 2015 the developer asked for an extension. And now, on July 29th a modified final preliminary plat was brought forward to the board.

"The process was to come back, modify the plat residential development and then come back and ask for this final preliminary plat approval," Director of Community Planning & Development Mark Kieselbach said.

The Board approved the motion unanimously August 18th. Making the next step for this development to begin engineer work for the road and utilities and then more forward with the final plat.
