LANSING - One minute the match was tied at nil, the next Lansing United's Danny Cawley and Josh Horne scored back-to-back, commanding a strong, 2-0, by the second minute of play.

Just nine minutes later, United's James Decosemo made what seemed to be an early, unsurmountable lead with another, but it was his assist to Cawley that put the finishing touches on the attack with a goal in the 31st minute.

United would need all four of these first half goals as Indy Eleven's Diego Lopez and Jared Bleah closed out the half strong, each scoring a goal, in the final minutes of play.

Indy's Evan Smith closed the gap, even further, with darting up midfield with a straight-lined shot to the back of the net. Smith's goal in the 49th minute of play capped off a seven-goal stretch that marked the most total goals in United history.

The goal-tending tightened down the stretch; however, with neither team able to capitalize, as United took the friendly, 4-3.
