Flushing Flushes Vikings, 3-1, in
Haslett

HASLETT - Haslett baseball crushing it all season long ran into Flushing in a Friday night double-header. The first game the Vikings went down the toilet, falling, 3-1, to the Raiders.

The Vikings could barely get the ball passed anyone, and the few times they put runners in scoring position, the ball quickly became a magnet to Flushing's gloves.

Pitching was dominant on both sides with Haslett's Luke Sleeper commanding respect in the blue and yellow, but he just could not get much help.

"We need to make some adjustments, once we see what the kid is doing," Haslett head coach Jeff Woodworth said after game one. "We need to make better contact, put the bat on the barrel better than we did, in game two for sure."

The Vikings bounced back for a, 3-2, home win to split later that night.
