3, In First Half Alone

EAST LANSING - When the Haslett Vikings handled East Lansing on Tuesday night, 16-2, they put out a statement that they are contenders in the CAAC. Okemos went another route, putting a screaming exclamation point on the fact that they are still state runners-up from a season ago. The Chiefs destroyed the Trojans, 16-3, by halftime, and came away with a, 22-4, snipe-show victory.

Max Nguyen had possibly the standout goal of the day, taking it himself through center field and juking to the right with a violent slap shot finish that pounded the lower left corner of the net.
