MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Wig and a Prayer made a splash on the scene with a grand ribbon cutting at its entrance on Friday, April 22nd.

Its new location: 1711 East Grand River Avenue. The open house featured snacks, champagne and cupcakes to make the store's opening a more glamorous celebration.

The store's owner, Jessica Grienke, says the salon is different than a wig store because it's a private consultation and that women get educated on all of their Hair replacement options, all while in a private setting.

Some of the furniture at the salon's open house had a very unique flair. They were found on Craigslist, repainted and refurbished, making the interior stand out from other salons.

During its open house the store officially opened its doors to the public. The new business is greatly anticipated by the Meridian Township community and welcomes the private salon to the Dobie shopping Center.
