OKEMOS - After losing leader Conner George to Tom Izzo, Okemos point guard Chaz Richardson is the unquestioned Batman for the Chiefs, but he may have just found his Robin. Sophomore guard Jordan Henry emerged as a fellow star Friday night, aiding Richardson in a, 77-53, lashing over Lansing Eastern.

"Jordan Henry's been doing a good job, and he's one of the guys that we needed to step up this year," Okemos head coach Jeff Wonch said after the win. "Hopefully this will be a confidence builder and him and Chaz working together, we can build something."

Prior to the season, Wonch praised the team for its defense in practice but waited for an offensive spark. On Friday, the Chiefs' 77 points marked the highest total under Wonch's four-year tenure as head coach.

"We were more aggressive today and it was nice to get the basket and get some easy ones," Wonch said.

"We aren't where we need to be, but they are working really hard so I am proud of them."
