OKEMOS - On Tuesday, December 12th, the Lansing Catholic Central Cougars defeated the Okemos Chiefs.

For the Chiefs, it was their first home game of the season.

Okemos' fans cheered on their Chiefs sporting khakis shorts and polos in honor of Prep Night.

For the Cougars, Michael Korrey led the team with 13 points, 3 steals, 3 assists, and 3 blocked shots.
Conner Dartt contributed 10 points and Tony Palmer added 8 points.

Leading for the Chiefs was Chaz Richardson with 13 points and Jordan Henry with 12 points.

Lansing Catholic Central's Head Coach, Eric Trojanowicz mentions, " I thought it started on the defensive end for our team; I really preach defense .

"If we can shut teams down our points will come. "

"Our team had a late start with 12 players on the football team that made it to the Division 5 state semifinal but we played well tonight."
