Haslett Boys Tennis Finishes 6th in State

HASLETT - Haslett tennis just finished a record breaking season, finishing 6th in the state, which is the highest finish in the programs history. The team finished 12-2-2, with first place finishes in the Haslett Invite, the Grand Rapids Christian Invite, as well as becoming CAAC Red regular season and tournament champions.

"We set a lot of records this year, a lot of them were goals based on the senior class who some of them for four years have been starters on varsity and literally over the course of their four years we've progressed from an average team in our division to one of the top teams in division three," said Head Coach Henry Brunnschweiler.

The Vikings have had an impressive stretch over the past four seasons. In that time period they compiled a record of 46-6-3, won 4 league titles, 4 regional titles, 4 Haslett Invite 1st place finishes, and went to 4 state tournaments.
