MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The construction on Lake Lansing Road has been finishing up this week.

A crew was seen outside today putting the finishing touches on an area at the intersection of Okemos and Lake Lansing Roads.

This stretch of road has been particularly rough for anyone that drives through it. Potholes and cracks in the pavement have become deep enough to cause damage to vehicles that hit them too fast. Now that the construction is complete, Township residents can look forward to a smoother and safer drive.

Construction work on this road began in April.
