MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Temperatures are rising in this steamy summer, and although hot temperatures can be enjoyable, they also can be dangerous.

Meridian Township Fire Inspector, Tavis Millerov, explains to viewers that increasing temperatures can leave your car cooking to high, unbearable temperatures. Leaving your kids or pets in your car on a hot summer day is extremely dangerous and should never be done.

"Temperatures can exceed to triple digits very easily, very quickly, so it is no type of environment to leave your child or your pet in," warns Millerov.

To prove how dangerous heat can get, we are going to show you that it can even bake your cookies! That's right, we are making dashboard cookies.
